Murphys Outlaws Cash Days

Cash Days is my way of combining 2 of my favorite things, drag racing and firearms. The goal with Cash Days is to have a straight up drag race between 2 competitors! First one to finish wins, plain and simple.

No Times, No Scoring, Just Speed!

Call Outs:

The beginning of each bracket, competitors will have the opportunity to call out another competitor that is still remaining in the competition, to compete against. The competitor that is called out DOES NOT have to accept the call out. If both competitors agree to the call out the competitors will be placed against each in the bracket. The competitor that was called out will have their choice of which side they would like to start on.

Chip Draw:

After all call outs have been made, the remaining competitors will draw poker style chips out of a bag at random. Each chip will have a number and letter on them. This will indicate who they are competing against as well as which side they will be competing on. Example: 2R would indicate, 2nd group of shooters on the right side. 2L would be their opponent on the left side.

BYE:

If there is an uneven amount of competitors, each competitor will draw chips before each round as usual. Whichever competitor does not have a matching number, will get a BYE into the next round. That competitor must still shoot at least one round when it is their time to compete.

SHOOTING:

Each competitor will line up in their designated start spot. The RSO will tell the competitors to load and make ready, or make ready. Depending on the start position. Once both competitors have made ready, the RSO will ask each competitor, individually, if they are ready. They can ask the same side every time, first. Or they can mix it up and make it random. After a competitor is asked “shooter ready” the competitor MUST give a verbal command back to the RSO. If no command is given the competitor will be put on the clock.

TIME LIMITS:

Once a group is called both competitors 45 seconds to be in their designated starting position. If one competitor is in their position after the 45 seconds and the other is not, the win will be awarded to the competitor that was ready. If both competitors are not in their start position after the 45 seconds, both competitors will be eliminated.

If there is a weapon malfunction that a competitor is trying to fix, after the 45 seconds the competitor that is waiting in their start position, will have the option to give their competitor an additional 5 minutes. They do not have to give this time and are allowed to take the win. The additional time is only for malfunctions. Not because you forgot to load mags.

  • Back up guns are allowed, as long as they follow the equipment rules

If a competitor does not give a verbal command after being asked “shooter ready” they will have 30 seconds before they are called for time and lose that round.

ROUNDS:

Each round will be best 2 out of 3 points. Both competitors are required to bring enough ammo to shoot up to 3 points. After each point both competitors will be allowed 1 minute. If a stage needs to be reset between points, both competitors will be required to unload and show clear between the points.

SECOND GUN:

If a competitor is wanting to run a second gun, they will need to registor twice. Once for each gun. In the case that a competitor draws both chips with the same number, putting themselves against themselves. Only one firearm will continue onto the next round.
